Hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
The Workforce Training Center in Boardman opened for classes on April 3, 2017 with 15,200 square feet of classroom and lab space and community meeting spaces for up to 50 people.
The building floor plan was designed to take education and industry training into the next generation. The new facility has educational lab spaces specially equipped for training in Industrial Systems Technology, Data Center Technology, and Early Childhood Education. A computer lab with 30 stations, three general classrooms, and a well-appointed conference room round out the amenities in the building.
Testing Information
BMCC Workforce Training Center's testing facilities offer proctored testing for placement exams, BMCC academic testing, and testing for other colleges or universities for a small fee. Valid/current Photo ID is required at the time of your exam. Cell phones, backpacks/bags, laptops and all other electronic devices must be stored in a locker prior to your test. Please see our testing page for more information.

Forklift Simulator
The Port of Morrow and Blue Mountain Community College have partnered to purchase a forklift simulator and begin offering training. There is a high demand for skilled forklift operators both at the Port of Morrow and regionally. The Forklift Simulator is located at the BMCC Workforce Training Center.
The Sit-Down CB Forklift Simulator provides a realistic virtual reality environment with OEM Hyster or Yale forklift controls. This configuration immerses learners in lifelike scenarios under safe and controlled conditions and without the potential liabilities or damages that could occur during onsite training, especially with first-time operators.
Please call 541-481-2099 to reserve training time on the simulator. Open to individuals as well as businesses by appointment.
