Wolf Den Food Pantry

BMCC has a food pantry with FREE food for ALL students!  New open hours are:

  • Tuesday & Thursday, 2- 5 p.m.
  • The Food Den is located on the lower floor of Morrow Hall, Room M-3.

We have new deliveries of food monthly, with frozen options available.  We also have a supply of warm quilts, hygiene items, and school supplies for those who need them.

CAPECO - Food pantries and meal sites in Gilliam, Hood River, Morrow, Sherman, Umatilla, Wasco, and Wheeler counties.
Community Action Program of East Central Oregon (CAPECO) serves those needing help with food and nutrition, housing, energy, youth programs, emergency assistance, and independent living.

HOUSING and UTILITIES/INTERNET

CAPECO -for help finding housing with bad rental history, emergency housing, eviction notices, behind on rent, homeownership classes. Call 541-276-1926 to schedule a visit.

Affordable Connectivity Program via Biden Admin, provides eligible households $30 per month off their internet bills

Oregon Telephone Assistance Program- provides discounted or free phone or broadband service to qualifying low-income households

Employment Related Day Care (ERDC) - helps working families pay for childcare

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) - cash benefits for low-income families with children.

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) - special supplemental nutrition program for women, infants, and children. 

Umatilla County CARE - Social services for children and parents

Pioneer Relief Nursery - infants, toddlers, and preschool programs in Pendleton

Umatilla-Morrow County Head Start

Oregon Child Development Coalition - childcare for disadvantaged children and families—has migrant and seasonal head start

PREGNANCY/SEXUAL HEALTH

Hope with Options - FREE services! Pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, counseling.

Umatilla County Public Health - general community health but also specific pregnancy and reproductive health services

Boys and Girls Aid - open-minded counseling for those unexpectedly pregnant 

 Planned Parenthood Walla Walla - Affordable reproductive health services 

MENTAL HEALTH

Rivercrest - Counseling service that has partnered with BMCC. The college will pay for a student’s first 4 appointments.  Amount of funding is after insurance and is not intended to cover the full cost of the visit. 

Community Counseling Solutions - Wide variety of behavioral health services including counseling and 24/7 crisis intervention. Sliding scale pricing.

Horizon Project - Provides opportunities for integration and independence for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as professional development for the people who support them.
