Veterans and Active Military

Serving those who serve military
military handshake

When you attend BMCC, you are part of our family.  We serve those who have served or are still serving our country.  With options to attend online, connect with one of our centers or attend on our main campus in Pendleton - the choices are endless.  Use your VA Education Benefits along with federal and state financial aid and complete a degree or certificate.  We also offer the Oregon National Guard State Tuition Assistance Program and Tuition Waivers.

Veterans Resource Center

Our Veteran's Resource Center (VRC) bridges the gap that naturally falls between our civilian students and our veterans.  As a student-veteran, you bring experiences to the classroom that are unique from civilian students.  Here, we provide a place to express yourself and connect with fellow student-veterans and staff who are aware of possible challenges you may face.  Make sure to ask to see our Veterans Resource Center on campus when you schedule a tour.

BMCC Welcomes our Veterans and Military.

  • The VRC is great because it gives veterans a safe place to study away from the normal areas. Where we can talk with other veterans about school and our military life.

  • The idea of transitioning from my career to full time school has been a scary experience. The transition was made so much easier by the great assistance and prompt replies I received from all the BMCC staff. | Marine Infantryman, 1st Battalion

  • I love the BMCC Veterans Resource Center because it gives student veterans a place that surrounds them with like-minded veterans. | Sergeant E-5
