BMCC uses Canvas software for the majority of courses that have an online component. On-campus courses will use Canvas for syllabus, grades and course evaluations.  Instructors will inform students in class about the requirements for using Canvas in their courses.

How to Login to Canvas

Your Canvas username is your full BMCC student email address, e.g., jstudent3456@my.bluecc.edu

Your Canvas password is your student ID with no spaces or hyphens followed by a B, e.g., 1234567B.

Earn your Associates Degree Online

Blue Mountain Community College offers another way to complete your AA degree once you've completed your developmental and/or pre-college classes. Everything you need from that point on is online, making it possible to complete your degree without taking another class on campus. Online classes differ by quarter. Check the Distance Learning Class Schedule for the current quarter's offerings.

Some online classes may require proctored tests, which can be proctored from anywhere in the world. If a class requires on-campus attendance, it will be listed as "Hybrid" in the Class Schedule. Hybrid classes combine online instruction with required classroom time, eliminating the need to come to campus every day.

For more information about earning your AA online contact Enrollment Services at or talk with your faculty advisor.
