Your New WolfWeb

The day arrived and we are making the switch to a new and streamlined platform!  There are some new features and different steps to access the same information with our new platform.  In preparation of navigating the new system, resources were created and posted below.  Make sure to check back regularly, as new material is continually added. 

Some services are in the queue for the migration.  If you are not seeing tools in the new portal accessed before, it is probably coming! 

If you are assisting a student in the new portal, we recommend viewing the student training material, as it is from the student’s point of view.  Videos for students are available on the student portal landing page.

Posted Aug 5, 2020 - Our Campus Nexus Team are happy to announce we are on track and going live today, Aug 5. The following bullets are directly from the team and a great way to get a quick update of our status. Let’s keep cheering them on as they make their way toward the goal started some time ago. Remember there may be some pieces in the system that are not quite right. If you are needing assistance, send an IT ticket in and make sure to include “CNS” on the front end of the subject line to help prioritize your request.



GO Live for Campus Nexus Student (CNS) Web Client:

  • Soft Go Live @ 10am (access limited to Subject Matter Expert, as well as limited functionality)
  • Staff who have attended End User Training will be first wave to access the new system
  • Access Issues should go to the Helpdesk (with CNS at the front of the subject line)
  • Do not have links to CNS Web Client
  • Cannot Log in
  • Don’t see the functionality they need to perform their duties
  • other

    *Note: You must use Chrome to access CNS products

  • Some functionality is not ready in CNS at this time. The limited student services listed at our Student Portal Information webpage remain in effect.
  • Please continue to check the website for updates and training resources

  • Thank you for your patience, depts. are continuing to work on backlogged items that are needing manual entry (example: applications, placement information, registrations, transcript requests, etc.). Students and staff should expect some delay in these areas.

Where do I send questions or issues?  

Route all questions and issues regarding Campus Nexus Student (CNS) through our current Helpdesk ticketing system.  IT is monitoring and referring tickets to appropriate CNS Subject Matter Experts who will address the need of the user. 

How to send a request to IT

When staff send a ticket in, make sure to add “CNS” in front on the subject line.  This allows IT to prioritize efficiently and respond quickly to your requests.

Staff will continue to use the following RogueNet modules until further notice.

These modules include the following:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Authorize
  • Budget
  • General Ledger
  • RaPS
  • RaPS Shipping

New Students

Can still move forward with steps toward starting this fall.  Continue to help them schedule testing and meeting with their advisor.  Tests are available but scores will will be posted after our Go-Live date of the new portal.

Applicants

During our student portal upgrade, we are accepting applications via a link on our Getting Started page until the end of August.   If a student has been away form BMCC for longer than a year, they will need to fill out an application.  This link is found on the Getting Started page.

Returning Students

If a student is looking to register for fall classes use our DocuSign below to keep moving forward!  

  • Student Registration Form: Your registration will be processed in date received order. You will receive an email as soon as your request is processed.
  • Schedule Change Form: Your schedule change is processed in date received order. You will receive an email as soon as your request is processed.

New Wolfweb is now Live

Our Student Portal page has great information to get students going.  If a student is needing details about logging in, please direct them to visit the Student Portal page to access videos and more!

Existing & Returning Students

  • Username- Your BMCC email (first initial, middle initial, full last name, last four (4) digits of your BMCC student ID @my.bluecc.edu   Example for Timber H. Wolf: thwolf0005@my.bluecc.edu        

*note, if you did not provide BMCC with your middle initial your BMCC email would also not include it- Example for Timber Wolf: twolf0005@my.bluecc.edu)

  • Password- same one you used for the old Wolfweb student portal.

New Students

  • Username- Your new BMCC email (firstname.lastname@my.bluecc.edu)
  • First Time Default Password- provided in an email from BMCC. You will be asked update this at your first log in attempt.
